Speaking about US and Mexico Perspectives on AI in February
at Rice University's "AI and U.S.-Mexico Relations: The Future(s) of Work" Symposium.
On February 6, 2025, I will be presenting in a keynote panel on "US and Mexico Perspectives on AI" at the “AI and U.S.-Mexico Relations: The Future(s) of Work" Symposium at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. Academic researchers, key policymakers, and corporate and civic leaders from the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America will discuss the implications of recent developments in AI, their impact on the U.S. and Mexican workers, and the social and economic complexities posed by increased AI-driven labor automation in the workforce. We will analyze bilateral opportunities for AI research, development, and regulation, and the role of ethical and social leadership in responsible AI innovation.
