Governing Educational Knowledge Commons workshop and book
Colleagues met at Rutgers to plan a co-edited volume in the GKC series.
On September 25th and 26th, authors of the Governing Edtech in Schools and Universities Governing Knowledge Commons workshop met at Rutgers University to plan the next volume in the Governing Knowledge Commons book series from Cambridge University Press. Edited by Kyle Jones, Rebecca Reynolds, and Yan Shvartzshnaider, the book's release is planned for 2025, and will include case studies on the governance of edtech. Building on work that I did as part of the International Network on Digital Self Determination, my case concerns what happens when stakeholders' motivations and incentive are misaligned and the governance of education knowledge commons fails.
