AI impacts people’s thinking processes, new technologies can be best designed for human cognition and flourishing, and the public can be engaged in policy and design discussions about these concerns. To that end, I am 1) establishing a research platform that serves as both a platform and infrastructure for myself, my colleagues, and the broader research community, 2.) developing a series of research investigations on how AI will impact human thinking and flourishing, and 3.) working with collaborators in both museums and an international research network to bring these and other sociotechnical issues to the public through activities in science museums.
